According to Gibb, 'münazaras' were a scale for Ottoman classical poetry, but Çelebi's münazara is longer as 'mesnevis' are. This 'münazara' (= skirmish, collide) narrates the endless war of winter between spring at Uludag Mountain (with its old Byzantine name Mt. Monk) in Bursa city. This work is an allegoric poem which contains characterization of all concepts such seasons, natural events etc. Winter and Spring Kings have different armies and during this poem they fight on. Hurricane is supreme commander of winter, some flowers are soldiers of spring and full of imageries this masterpiece includes. Lami'i Çelebi named the mountain as 'Uludag' in that work firstly instead of Mt. Monk. According to Agâh Sirri Levend, Münazara was written in 1522 by Çelebi. Although Lamii has about 40 works by researchers, there are 27 works that are certain to belong to him. In the Ottoman world, he was known for his prose (mathnawi) rather than poetic works. Lamii's poem, unlike other "adaptation" is a work which was written with an original subject by him. This is First Printed Edition. Özege 14810. Extremely rare. One of the gems of Turkish literature.
