A LIBROS ANTIGUOS
Los libros, se dividen en dos categorías: los libros antiguos o raros y los libros modernos. La línea fronteriza, entre los dos, se sitúa tradicionalmente en el año 1830.
Hasta esa fecha, el libro era considerado un objeto artesanal, con las ventajas y desventajas que ello conlleva; todos sus componentes (desde el embalaje del papel hasta la encuadernación) eran producto de procesos manuales, por lo que, hasta principios del siglo XIX, la tirada media era de unos 300 ejemplares.
